What is MAGIC?
MAGIC was designed to allow both large and small congenital cardiology centers to collaborate in
studies that help determine the long-term outcomes of catheter-based therapies.
We have worked with the manufacturer of PedCath, a Pediatric Cath Reporting System, in upgrading
their software with automatic data submission capabilities. This allows participating centers,
using PedCath Enterprise, to share HIPAA compliant cardiac catheterization procedure and follow up
information across the Internet.
The importance of this strategy is that very little data entry is required and data entry is in a
familiar environment used throughout the world.
