- At the 2004 SCAI meeting in San Diego, MAGIC is formalized with Duke Children's Hospital & Health Center, Johns Hopkins Hospital, Vanderbilt Children's Hospital, and the Virginia Heart Center.
May 2003
- At the 2003 SCAI meeting in Boston, the concept of MAGIC was proposed by Allen D. Everett, MD and Jack Wilson at the recommendation of Charles Mullins, MD to provide SCAI with a registry tool to combat the problems resulting from dual data entry.
